Feedback & Privacy

This is a prototype seeking honest challenge—not a finished programme.

People’s 40 is testing whether a Kendra-level civic process can help citizens understand local issues, set priorities, compare candidate responses and review public commitments over five years. Feedback helps us decide what to change before considering wider use.

What feedback is for

We use responses to identify local priorities, correct or qualify information, understand what is unclear, improve the site and assess whether the model is useful and trusted. Submitting feedback does not mean you endorse People’s 40.

Who may review it

Forms on this test site are processed through Netlify Forms and are accessible to the site’s authorised administrators. The People’s 40 team may review responses for the purposes described here.

What may be shared

We may publish summaries or aggregated themes to explain what we heard and what changed. We will not intentionally publish a submitter’s identifying details without permission. Please do not include sensitive personal information or information about other people that you are not entitled to share.

Important limits at this test stage: This is an early prototype. The project’s longer-term data-retention, deletion and access procedures have not yet been fully formalised. Do not submit confidential material, passwords, financial details, medical information or other sensitive personal data. If you need to share evidence, provide a public source link where possible.

How we will treat responses

  • Survey responses are contributions to discussion, not a scientific poll or proof that all residents share a view.
  • Opinion, allegations, verified facts and unanswered questions should be kept separate.
  • Claims about identifiable people should be checked against reliable evidence and handled fairly, including an appropriate opportunity to respond before publication.
  • Test submissions are for technical testing and should not be counted as public opinion.
  • We will review feedback to improve the prototype; not every suggestion can be adopted, and we should explain important changes where practical.

40 K usability questionnaire

Tell us whether the test portal is clear, easy to navigate and useful. This 2–3 minute questionnaire is about the website, not a political opinion poll. No name or voter ID is required.
